Wheels Beside the Water is on Sunday 30 NOV 2008
This is a cycling event for individuals, families and friends of all ages.
4 options of distances, suitable for those riding mountain or road bikes tricycles and unicycles .
There is also a walking option, for non-riders or those with young children on trikes.
This is not a race so take your time, enjoy a coffee at one of our sponsoring cafes, take in the scenery and enjoy some of the great riding places on the coast This Event starts at Kapiti School in Rimu Road, behind Coastlands
How to enter All entries will be on the day. Children gold coin doation - adult folding donation - Funds supporting Mary Potter Hospice
The first 200 entrants will receive a $10 voucher from Shoe Clinic
On the Day Wheels Beside the Water starts from Kapiti Primary School, which is off Rimu Road, behind Coastlands Shopping Mall in Paraparaumu. There is plenty of parking in the school grounds and it is also close to the railway station.
.Registration opens at 9am with a safety briefing at 9.50am.

All riders will start together at 10a.m riding off-road down the Wharemauku Stream path. Take a picnic - call at a cafe - this is about fun and seeing the Kapiti Coast by bike.
Skills course There will be jumps seasaws and other activities set up in the playground that you can practice riding skills on while you wait for others to return from different courses.
Spot Prizes There will be lots of spot prizes including a new Avanti mountain bike valued at over $500
Café Calling: Call into any one or more of our supporting cafes and bring home your receipt - you go into a special café cruisers draw for a dinner voucher from The Waterfront brassiere .
